Such Consultancy services include ship inspections, repairs, dry-docking and new building supervision. Entice on behalf of their clients inspects all ships prior to purchase. One of the main issues is how well a ship has been maintained and this is one of the first areas to suffer if an owner is short of money.

Entice has developed a standard format for ship inspection that includes an assessment of the ship’s appearance and level of maintenance, talks with the crew and status of spare parts and supplies onboard. This format ensures a level of consistency in assessing what an inspector is told and what his actual findings are. In this way we can identify any problems before they become too serious.
